My art business has been designated as a "Trusted Art Seller" with The Art Storefronts Organization, which means you can shop with confidence, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my products.
My inspiration for photography and exploration evolved from my early childhood while reading National Geographic Magazines. As I got older, I became fascinated with the historical journals of many great early explorers including Stanley and Livingstone, Amundsen, The Louis and Clark, Expedition, Percy Fawcett and of course Sir Edmund Hillary.
My photography and lighting skills were honed as an assistant photographer to Kim Mizuno, an accomplished commercial photographer in Los Angeles from (1997-1999). Afterwards, I applied these learned techniques in the field as I travelled the globe working for Four-Wheeler Magazine.
My exploits have taken me from the
heights of Khardung La, a high mountain pass in the Himalayas of northern
India at 17,582 feet to Ushuaia Tierra Del Fuego, the southernmost city in the
world. I have driven in the most extreme conditions on the planet, including
the frozen wastelands of Icelandic Highlands and the treacherous ice road
to Tuktoyaktuk, Northwest Territories, Canada. I had the honor of Joining Joe Custer's Class 7S Team to help navigate and win the first Baja 2000 Offroad Race, the ultimate desert challenge.
